Welcome. Scribbles Preschool is nonprofit and nonsectarian, and is dedicated to serving all people on an equal and nondiscriminatory basis. We are located in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. We hope you find our website both informative and practical, with easy access to our downloadable forms, calendar, newsletters and flyers, as well as links to current related websites. The illustrations used on our site are based on our students’ drawings from 1988. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Scribbles News
Book Nook is an afternoon enrichment program designed to enhance language development and promote emerging literacy by focusing on several prominent children’s authors and illustrators. Each month culminates with the children creating their own book based on the inspiration received from the authors and illustrators studied.
The purpose of The Week of the Young Child is to focus the public’s attention on the needs of young children and their families, and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. Each year we have a display highlighting this theme.
One way we celebrate Earth Day is through our yearly coin collection. This year’s funds will be used to protect the Molinu Pampa Community Reserve in northern Peru, an Andean Mountain Tropical Forest that is home to rare plant species and endangered animals. Just one penny protects one square yard of rainforest! For each dollar we raised, we placed a “leaf” on our “rainforest tree”. Look what we raised so far!
4D Healthy Bodies. After learning about the body through lessons and books, each child made a “body” by tracing, cutting, painting and pasting.
Our fours’ classes visit the Cabana Family Dental.
